Singer Tereza Černochová (38) will shine in the StarDance dance competition, where the handsome Dominik Vodička (25) is her partner. In an interview for eXtra.cz, Tereza spoke about demanding trainings, where tears sometimes flow, she also revealed what she is most afraid of in the competition, and she remembered the band Black Milk, in which she worked with singers Tereza Kerndlová and Helena Zeťová, but in the end due to disagreements, the group disbanded. She has been a member of the band Monkey Business since 2017.

How demanding are StarDance trainings now? Expectations and reality are often different …
It’s very difficult. It’s really a massacre and hard work, and we’re only in that first phase. Then comes the second phase, which will be the one attempt and live broadcast. O I even dreamed of StarDance, even about the drop-out bike, but only I dropped out and Dominik stayed there, which I didn’t like (laughs).
Are you satisfied with your dance partner? Is Dominik strict with you?
Dominik is a tough guy who tries to get a person to the stage to bite and start scratching. Which I think is perfectly fine. I also think that people who are less mentally sensitive have a big advantage.
Why do you think that?
In short, when one starts to take it too much, it overwhelms you and overtakes you, then one gets into some decompensation. Fortunately, there are those professionals from there who correct and monitor the values so that they are as they should be,
So there were tears already?
Yes, there were tears and I’m glad I’m not alone. I have already talked to my colleagues and they admitted to me that they were already crying.
Is there anything you’re worried about while working at StarDance?
The biggest fear is not to get hurt. I’m also a little subconsciously afraid that it won’t be a shame as a whole. So that it is really beautiful even for a dance partner who has been paying attention to me for a really long and careful time, and we didn’t look like a disparate couple.
Dominika, how would you describe Tereza as a dance partner? What else are you sawing?
Terka is a great perfectionist, so we had to work so that she didn’t take the dance so much. We are not robots and there can always be a mistake, but we will still work on it

You didn’t break up very well with the band Black Milk, in which you worked with Tereza Kerndlová and Helena Zeťová. How do you remember the band?
I think we ended it quite well, when you find out in what situations other bands that have been together for a long time break up. I think our breakup was really cool. But it is ancient history.
What did you gain from working in the famous Black Milk trio?
It was my first start in public life and public music. It taught me the most that I’m a team player, I like having a group of people around me, but again, it can’t be too big a group of people.because I have respect and fear for it. Plus, I love it when everything works out the way it should, and everyone knows what to do. Such a perfect Swedish machine that ticks as it should, and I like that.
So are you more of a team player?
Yes, in Black Milk I understood that I am more of a team player than a solo star, it is not completely close to me. I experience the overall form and what is inside rather than just what is outside.
