London, Oct 1 (EFE) .- Rafa Benítez, Everton coach, recalled his time as a Real Madrid coach and assured that Cristiano Ronaldo is “one of the best professionals.”
The ‘Toffees’ coach is measured this weekend at Manchester United, which will mean his reunion with Cristiano, whom he directed between June 2015 and January 2016.
“I trained Cristiano at Real Madrid and he was one of the best professionals. He worked hard, trained very well and always took care of his body. He is a true example of what a professional should be,” said Benítez.
“Now, you can’t just focus on one player, even when it’s someone like Cristiano, because the rest can also score goals.”
For the duel against United, to which Everton comes fifth in the table, Benítez will not be able to count on key players such as Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Semaus Coleman and André Gomes.
