The actor Jordi Sánchez, who spent 24 days in an induced coma in the ICU due to the coronavirus, has told what was the worst of that period, in which lived in “a parallel world” by the “strong hallucinations”.
In an interview on the Catalunya Ràdio program ‘El Suplement’, the actor has detailed how he lived those 24 days intubated in the Intensive Care Unit, now that He has been at his home in Barcelona for ten days recovering of the virus altogether.
“After 24 days in an induced coma, when they woke me up I couldn’t walk, or do anything, not even write,” recalled Jordi Sánchez, who pointed out that the worst moment was when he woke up believing that his son had died, and He even remembered having been preparing the papers for his burial.
“I lived in a parallel world during those 24 days. I thought my son was dead. It was terrible. He was so high that I believed that it was true. Hallucinations are stronger than dreams. I woke up super sad and not until the third day I dared to ask about my son. When they told me I wasn’t dead I started to cry“, has related.
Fortunately, that hard episode is already part of the past and now the actor is recovering from COVID-19. The actor, who you think you caught the coronavirus while filming a movie, has said that although they were tested very frequently for the virus, there is always a risk of contagion.
