A ten-year-old ballerina from Yekaterinburg surprised the viewers of the show “Miracle” on NTV. She came to the studio to host Arseny Popov and talked about her career. About herself, Yulia Korotaeva says that she is a professional ballet dancer and wants to become a principal at the Bolshoi Theater.
– I study about 4-5 hours a day, well, I have 6 days of classes and one day of rest. On the weekend I go out with my friends and make videos. “I want to be the main character at the Bolshoi (theatre) and dance the part from Swan Lake,” Yulia told Arseny Popov.
For the sake of her dream, Julia has to give up sweets and starchy food. The girl can enjoy the culinary pleasures of her childhood only three or four times a year – she eats marmalades.
Yulia entered the Moscow Academy of Choreography to study
“Sometimes Galina Yurievna, my supervisor, lets us choose different ingredients. When we won a competition or just danced very well,” said Yulia.
She told the presenter about her success on stage. Julia became a laureate of a prestigious competition at the Perm Choreographic School. She also won the Grand Prix with the number “Mermaid” at the Hermitage Theatre.
The artistic director of the school of the future artist “Rossiyanka”, where Yulia studies ballet, Galina Nurdinova, spoke about the girl.
– I have about 40 students. Julia is wonderful, one of the best students, this year she entered the Moscow State Academy of Choreography at the Bolshoi Theater,” said Galina Yuryevna.
“There was a big competition, there were 300 people, 39 girls were accepted,” said Yulia. She wanted the audience to find their life’s work, not to give up and not to be afraid about problems.
