When I read the BZ in the morning, breakfast came up again: The former national player Christoph Metzelder had passed on child and youth pornographic files. He is said to have sent photos that show the serious abuse of girls under ten years old.
At this point I would like to briefly note that, according to the law, there is serious sexual abuse of children if a person over the age of eighteen has sexual intercourse with the child or performs similar sexual acts on him or allows him to perform on him, with one Penetration into the body.
What signals do we send out into the world when the responsible judge Astrid Stammerjohann almost regrets Mr. Metzelder for the sentence: “The special public interest is the downside of her celebrity.” In addition, Ms. Stammerjohann speaks of “relatively few criminal acts”, Christoph Metzelder has no criminal record and he has “shown real remorse”. That means, those who do not send such trash too often and then show real remorse, and also have no criminal record, are welcome to do so: Ten months in prison and on probation, that is all the person would have to fear.
