“I sang in the Riga cabaret.” Yuri Loza commented on the failure of Laima Vaikule in Israel

Only a few days have passed since the concerts of the Baltic artist in the Promised Land. This event did not bring financial pleasure to the singer. And in the Russian Federation, the first comments about the “starfall” have already appeared.

A few months before her mini-tour in Israel, Laima Vaikule self-confidently declared: she fed the entire USSR. And in the Jewish state, having arranged only 3 concerts, she barely justified her performance – there was no full house on Vaikul. She sang in halls that do not even reach the regional level of the House of Culture in Russia. So, in Ashdod, where the last concert took place, tickets were distributed to a room with a capacity of less than 900 people. Yes, 40 more tickets remained at the box office.

By the way, the 68-year-old performer of the hit “Vernissage” sang in Russian. How else? After all, all the best songs are written in Russian – and only because of them the singer is invited somewhere. And for this reason alone, artists like Vaikula will begin to return to the Russian stage. This was stated by Yuri Loza, talking with journalists inforeactor.ru.

According to the musician, the fugitives will be drawn back, because they are not in demand abroad. It was in the old days in the USSR that artists from the Union republics were respected. Now everything is different. “In Israel, such an effect as in the Soviet Union and Russia is not observed,” Yuri Eduardovich stated, “They treat the performers correctly: who sings or dances“. And in the Russian Federation, Soviet stars were treated by inertia – and loved for their previous merits.

Therefore, Vaikule and others in Israel and abroad in general have no prospects. So says the famous musician. And he reminded Vaikula who she was before coming to Russia: “She sang in a Riga cabaret in her youth».

According to the author of The Raft, all those who left will try to return to the Russian stage in any way, including Laima Vaikule: “Here (in Russia) popularity, respectively, here she can earn».
