kevin owens recently battled the Texas rattlesnake, steve austin in the main event of Wrestlemania Saturday. It was surely the biggest night of Kevin’s career as he came face to face with the cornerstone of the Age of Attitude.
WWE fans received an unexpected treat in the form of Steve Austin vs. Kevin Owens, as no one expected, The Texas Rattlesnake would return to the ring to fight again in a formal match. Austin’s previous match before this was against The Rock at wrestling 19 that lost. Exactly 19 years after that iconic match, we got to see probably the biggest Superstar in all of WWE history wrestle again.
The match exceeded all possible expectations and became one of the best matches on the card at Wrestlemania this year. Austin took some surprisingly harder punches than expected, as Owens hit him several times throughout the match. He drank beers during each course of the match to avoid dehydration and fatigue. ending
In the closing moments of the match, Kevin brought a steel chair into the ring to hurt the 57-year-old Steve on his back, but instead bounced it off the ropes into his own face, which was followed by Stone Cold hitting him with the stunner to immobilize Owens. and get a big win in front of his hometown crowd of Dallas.
But you know what is more interesting? Even before the match began, Kevin Owens wasn’t 100% sure what exactly would happen once Austin steps into the ring through those ropes. Recently, during an interview on the Tim Donnelly showKevin detailed about his confrontation with Steve Austin,
“I really didn’t know what to expect. That’s the fun part. I knew he and I were going to be in the same ring, I knew we were going to talk some trash obviously, and I had a feeling it would turn into a fight at some point, but I had no idea. the scope of the fight. Everyone loved it so much, everyone saw it. More importantly, I speak for myself, but I think I can also speak for him, the two people in the ring who did it had as much fun as everyone else watching.”

Kevin Owens is currently involved in a feud with Ezekiel
Since Wrestlemania ended, Owens has been involved in a motive to uncover Ezekiel’s true identity as (who is a self-proclaimed younger brother of Elais) as Elias himself. He even tried to test it through a lie detector test, but found nothing against Ezekiel that would drive him crazy.
Now he’s taking his investigation to the next level, as Kevin will take Ezekiel in for a DNA test next week on Monday Night Raw in hopes that he will finally reveal his truth in front of the WWE Universe.
