I raise my hands and say “Get well” –

/ world today news/ /So far, there is no agreement on the idea of the DPS to move towards changing the Constitution with an entirely new bill proposed by them.

This became clear after the meeting between Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and DPS leader Lyutvi Mestan, which ended with a conversation in the office of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Tsetska Tsacheva, with the participation of the co-chairman of the Reform Bloc, Radan Kanev.

We don’t have consent. There is a retreat to reach a consensus within the parliament,” announced Radan Kanev after the talks with the prime minister and the leader of the DPS.

The co-chairman of the reformers was adamant that a reform in the form proposed by DPS cannot be accepted at the moment, and talks about a new constitutional project cannot be a concession to what the reformers insist on.

Lutvi Mestan believes that a compromise is needed from the parliamentary groups regarding the judicial reform. Otherwise, according to him, there is a risk before the adoption of the judicial reform.

The project of the rulers did not generate consent and will be completed by the end of the year. What we have proposed guarantees quick reform and reform by September 15, with a break for the August vacation, Mestan explained.

The biggest disagreement is between the two colleges, explained Borisov.

Plan B is to raise my hands and say “Get better”, warned the Prime Minister. He added: There is a day and a half for consensus.

Failure of the constitutional changes will also mean the failure of the judicial reform. This will be a failure for the country. If this happens, Romania may overtake Bulgaria for Schengen. Everyone has voters and commitments to them, emphasized the Prime Minister.

Borisov stated that the talks will have to continue at least until the end of this week

What we have proposed guarantees quick reform and reform by September 15, with a break for the August vacation, Mestan explained.

The prime minister added that maximum agreement should be sought, not excluding the option of changing the Constitution by September 15.

Tomorrow, the talks will continue with more meetings with BSP and BDC.
