According to the vaccination protocol approved by the General Directorate of Strategic Interventions in Public Health of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), people domiciled in Peru with Down syndrome and who are 12 years of age or older may be vaccinated against COVID-19 free of charge and voluntarily as part of the Vaccination.

For the inoculation of the dose that corresponds to this age group, there will be a specific point for their attention (preferential module), with no need to queue for access to any vaccination center.

It is worth mentioning that the informed consent form for vaccination against COVID-19 signed by the father, mother or guardian of minors; while at the time of inoculation, the person may be accompanied.
