I played the character with reference to Naslan: Asif Ali

Adios Amigo is a movie starring Asif Ali and Suraj Venjaramood in lead roles. The film was directed by newcomer Nahas Nasser. Adios Amigo tells the story of two strangers from two poles of society who meet. Adios Amigo was the film where we saw Asif Ali’s best performance. Asif’s score and dialogue delivery in the film have been discussed.

Asif Ali says that he speaks Paravoor slang in the film and the reference was taken from the films of young actor Naslan. Asif Ali also said that Nazlan is a Paravoor survivor whom he knows very well. He was talking to Mollywood’s Silly Monks.

While telling the story of Adios Amigo, there is Idukki slang in it. That is what goes through my mind. Finally we decided that we wanted a Paravoor man who spoke the Paravoor language.

The Paravoor language is unique in that it is neither a Kochi language nor a Thrissur language. But the word Vathuri is also included in it. While they are thinking like that, they are talking about one of their friends named Cyril. He is a police officer. Tangam and he will read the script together, taking his time.

Cyril changes it. I’ll tell it my way. I have seen Naslan movies to some extent.

Because he is the best Paravoor man I know alive. No need to look at height, the important thing is that things work out somehow,’ said Asif Ali
