“I Photographic Contest ‘The book and reading’ winners to be awarded at Fundación CB Residence Hall in Badajoz on June 8”

The prizes of the I Photographic Contest ‘The book and reading’, in homage to Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Plaza, will be awarded on June 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fundacin CB Residence Hall (Rucab) in Badajoz.

The objective of this contest launched by the CB Foundation is to accommodate those photography fans who, from an artistic point of view, want to value images related to books or reading.

The prizes consist of three trophies for the first three selected by the jury, made up of the photographer Pedro Casero, the director of the Extremeo and Ibero-American Museum of Contemporary Art (Meiac), Catalina Pulido; the president of the Union of Extreme Bibliphiles, Matilde Muro, and a representative of the CB Foundation.

Five second prizes will also be awarded, which will be awarded with a copy of a book belonging to the CB Foundation funds.

On the same day, June 8, once the awards have been delivered, the exhibition will be inaugurated at the Rucab Residence, with a total of twenty works selected from among those presented and which will be open to the public until June 30, according to the aforementioned foundation in a press release.
