I owe it all to one person

Antonino Cannavacciuolo, in addition to being a great chef, is also one of the best known faces of Italian television. His bloodthirsty behavior and his strong personality, then, made him one of the most well-known television characters and even if you are not avid Masterchef viewers it is practically impossible not to know who he is. In a recent interview with Corriere della Sera, however, he has declared how he has come to such success and confesses that he owes it to a particular person. Let’s go, then, to see who it is.

We are obviously talking about the better half of the well-known chef, Cinzia Primatesta. The woman, in fact, she is a very skilled entrepreneur who has managed to create a great business and also convince her husband to take the decisive television “turning point”. “Sure, I practically brought it there” Cinzia says to Courier and Antonino obviously can only agree. The strong determination of the Primatesta, then, was also fundamental to forge the solid bond that now firmly binds the two spouses: We quickly became friends with Tony, then he left to do experiences around. The bond remained but, sure, I held it tight. I always went to see him. Without that initial determination of mine we would have been lost “

Cinzia’s decision, however, also encountered some obstacles and in fact speaks of a first refusal by Cannavacciuolo regarding his entry into show business. As usual, in fact, Antonino did not mince words when his partner suggested that he think about the world of television: When they asked him to do the first edition of Masterchef, he said: “What is this Masterchef?”.

The right occasion, then, did not miss the shrewd Cinzia Primatesta who in fact tells the well-known newspaper how fortuitous the case that saw Antonino become one of the most recognized faces of our local television: However, when Endemol sought him out to propose Nightmare Kitchens, I took the call.
