The singer premiered a collaboration with Bizarrap where she refers to her break with Piqué and throws harsh hints at the footballer.
This Wednesday night Shakira and Bizarrap (BZRP) finally released the long-awaited collaboration that was speculated on this week. And it is that the fans of the artist already knew that this new song would be nothing more and nothing less than a hint to Piqué, ex-husband of the Colombian.
It was via Twitter that BZRP announced the video “now available” and in a matter of minutes it exceeded 3 million views. Thus, part of the lyrics that leaked this Wednesday where the singer hinted at Piqué with clever puns was finally confirmed.
“A wolf like me is not for beginners. A wolf like me is not for guys like you. I was big for you and that’s why you’re with someone just like you“, Shakira says in a fragment of the song.
“This is for you to mortify yourself, chew and swallow, swallow and chew. I don’t come back with you anymore or cry to me, or beg me. I understood that it’s not my fault that they criticize you, I only make music, sorry that I splashed you“, is heard in the lyrics.
Shakira throws ‘shooter’ at Piqué
But that’s not all, since as the song progresses, Shakira’s verses against Piqué become even more specific.
“You left me as a neighbor to the mother-in-law, with the press at the door and the debt in the Treasury. You thought you hurt me and you made me tougher. Women don’t cry anymore, women bill”, says the artist.
This would not be the first time that Shakira dedicated a piece of music to her ex-husband. And it is that she did it previously with the song “Te Felicito”, together with Rau Alejandro; and also with “Monotonía”, where she collaborated with Ozuna.
Although the singer did not confirm that these first titles were directly for Piqué, from whom she separated in 2022 after an affair, the lyrics and the context made fans directly associate this new music with the breakup. Although now, it is more than clear that Bizarrap’s new ‘tiradera’ was for the footballer.
