Tancredi Cantù Rajnoldi he is moved in the semi-final of Amici 2021 talking about the father he misses so much. The young pupil of Maria De Filippi’s talent has a strong bond with his parent, whom he had already talked about previously without ever going into detail. Perhaps not everyone knows that Tancredi’s father is a character of a certain notoriety: it is Alberto Cantù Rajnoldi, creative director who works for the Armani brand.
Tancredi’s words for his father
In the first of the three rounds of the episode of Amici that decrees the finalists, Tancredi performed with the piece Come Home, inserting bars dedicated to the father (above the video of the performance): “I’m sick because I really care about you. I can no longer hear you with just one call. I can’t wait to hug you and go home“. Arisa has filled him with compliments, also for how he manages to sing his personal experience. The boy admitted, almost in tears: “I wrote those words for my father. We are close even though we are far away, I miss it so much“. We remember that the boys have been away from their families for several months now. Already in a previous episode Tancredi had talked about his parents, inserting the bars in the song” Sons of the stars “:”I am the son of my father and my choices. I am the son of my mother and my choices”.
Who is Alberto Cantù Rajnoldi, Tancredi’s father
Alberto Cantù Rajnoldi studied at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, a prestigious private school of fashion and design, and after working at the Japanese company Yagi & Co, he joined Giorgio Armani Spa about 25 years ago. Here he holds the position of Design and Creative director, in the design of men’s collections.
Who is Tancredi’s mother, Angela Carrubba Pintaldi
The mother of Amici’s competitor is instead Angela Carrubba Pintaldi, an artist of Sicilian origin (from Ortigia). She is a painter and makes jewels, using stones and corals: she travels a lot and has brought her creations to some exhibitions. Tancredi also has a brother and sister, Ruben and Angelica. His parents therefore seem to have been inspired for the names of their children by the characters of Tancredi and Angelica, protagonists of the novel Il Gattopardo as well as names present in the epic of chivalry.
