I Liga. Sporting CP – Belenenses SAD

Sporting maintained today the 100% victorious route in the I Portuguese Football League, by beating Belenenses SAD at home, by 2-0, in a game of the third round.

Defender Gonçalo Inácio (07 minutes) and midfielder Palhinha (48) scored the goals of the Lions, who now add nine points, the same as Benfica and three more than FC Porto, who have one game less, Sporting de Braga and Gil Vicente.

With this victory, Alvalade’s team joins Benfica, with the same points (9), but in first place due to a greater number of goals.

Belenenses SAD, who ended up reduced to 10 elements by the expulsion of Taira (89), added their third defeat and continues without scoring, as does Famalicão.
