Moral investigation forces managed to seize a homosexuality network in the city on Oct.6, after the surveillance unit monitored promotional materials and social media publications promoting immoral acts, including the practice of homosexuality.
Homosexuality network seized in the city on 6 October
After tracing the posts on social networking sites Facebook, the Ethics Investigation Department managed to identify the suspects in charge of managing the network.
Investigations indicated that there are 3 people running a lair in the Haram City area of the city on Oct 6 for immoral acts and who have set the price per night at EGP 1,000 per night, and they have been arrested after legalizing the procedures.
Imprisonment of the accused
After the defendants confessed, a report of the incident was issued and the defendants were referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which ordered their detention pending the case.
