I Just Want Surabaya Citizens To Be Prosperous

KOMPAS.com – Mayor Surabaya Tri Rismaharini admitted that he had received an offer to become a minister in the Cabinet formed by President Joko Widodo.

However, the offer complied Risma he refused.

The reason is because they are committed to focusing on helping the people in Surabaya prosper.

Therefore, he didn’t want to waste time devoting himself as mayor.

“I want to convey, why do I still remain mayor. Because, my goal (wants) the citizens of Surabaya to be more prosperous,” said Risma when inaugurating a sports field in Tambak Asri, Krembangan, Surabaya, Sunday (16/8/2020).

In the past one year, Risma actually admitted that she wanted to focus on motivating her residents.

It’s just that because of the Covid-19 outbreak, the plan has been delayed.
