JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – National Police Chief General Idham Azis threw a joke when giving a speech in the series of 74th Bhayangkara Anniversary at the Police Criminal Investigation Building, South Jakarta, Wednesday (1/7/2020).
Reporting from Kompas.com, Idham said, he was less smart despite having served as the number one person in Polri institutions.
“I’m a bit stupid to be the National Police Chief. Only the National Police Chief is stupid,” joked Idham, who was immediately greeted by the participants’ laughter.

The humor began when Idham touched on the theme of Bhayangkara’s anniversary celebration this year, namely “Conducive Kamtibmas for Productive Communities”.
Idham said, the theme invited questions from a number of parties.
“Then I say, it’s good to be given a theme,” Idham babble.
Idham then exposed the figure behind the idea of the theme, namely the Assistant Chief of Police in the field of Human Resources (As SDM) Inspector General Sutrisno Yudi Hermawan.
