Santiago’s mother, Lorena Larsen, is relieved that the police have found the man they believe is behind the collision. Now she is waiting for further progress in the case. When VG calls, she is in Santiago’s kindergarten to look after him.
– The police called me earlier today and said that they had found the man and that they should interrogate him, she says to VG.
– I’m glad they found him. I hope he takes responsibility for what he has done, says Larsen.
Larsen is not yet sure if she will report, and is waiting for a message after the police have questioned the man.
Now she is waiting for a phone call from the police.
Larsen says that things are going better with Santiago now.
– Santiago is better, I think he is starting to forget the incident. He is not as scared as he was before, she says and adds:
– Sometimes he still cries, so it is difficult to know. It has been a shock for him, so he needs some time.
