According to industry sources on the 2nd, Harimgak, a Chinese restaurant in Buam-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, temporarily suspended business.
In front of Harimgak, a notice was posted stating, “Harimgak business will be terminated from the 1st due to a high monthly rent of 200 million won and severe business deterioration due to Corona 19.” Among local residents, rumors that Harimgak was completely closed, but Nam Sanghae Chairman Harim-gak said in an interview with a media, “It is not a business end, but a temporary suspension.” Chairman Nam said, “The business is too poor, so the more we operate, the more we lose.” “I do,” he explained to the media.
Harimgak opened in 1987. It is a large-scale Chinese restaurant that can accommodate up to 3,000 guests at the same time, and many political figures have also visited. Events such as party workshops, luncheons, and meetings were also held here.
