I have such opinions and I am not ashamed of them, he says – eXtra.cz

Samir Margina made the biggest splash of Monday’s Clash of the Stars press. The fighter began to insult the LGBT community, especially gays, in a disgusting way. His speech went so far as to include death threats. How does Samir evaluate his words immediately after the press conference? He talked about it in an interview for eXtra.cz.

I have such opinions and I am not ashamed of them, says Samir

Samir Margina has undoubtedly become the most prominent face of Monday’s Clash of the Stars press, and certainly not in a good way. He indiscriminately attacked his three opponents who are from the LGBT community. The warrior was so insane that he even used death threats. Although many would expect that he would regret his completely inappropriate behavior, the opposite is true, as he admitted in an interview for eXtra.cz.

“Yes, hate speech belongs here. It’s Clash of the Stars and it’s a show. It’s not the Octagon, it’s not a professional organization and people want to see a show. I gave the people a great show here. Unfortunately, I blew it a little bit, but that’s to those emotions. I have such opinions and I’m not ashamed of them.” defends his performance at the press conference, which disgusted the guests present.

“This is a show. This is Clash of the Stars, so if anyone is taking it too seriously that they think I’m going to assault someone somewhere, I’m not. I wouldn’t allow that and I’m banned from the guys. I have no problem at the police, I’m a well-behaved boy, I just have the kind of opinions that normal people have, they’re just afraid to say it out loud,” he continues to justify his words. However, it must be added that his hate speech towards the sexual minority was way over the line and it is possible that he will be investigated by the police.

He makes absurd excuses for his insults

He excuses insults against homosexuals by distinguishing between two types of gays. “I have nothing against decent homosexuals and I respect them. It bothers me how the marches are, I am strongly against it, against indecent homosexuals and against what they do. They give decent homosexuals bad publicity. I am against them,” explains Margina.

Although words including death threats came from his mouth, he claims that he would not do anything to anyone. “I didn’t mean to cut anybody or do anything to them. All I do is beat them up in a cage. Because of course violence belongs in a cage. But I really wouldn’t do anything else.” let himself be heard.

Although he himself admits that he may have “overplayed it a bit”, he is not ashamed of his statements. “It’s quite personal for me. I’m training and this is an insult to me, these guys. I want to beat them in the cage and I’ll keep all my emotions in the cage. It’s true that I blew it a bit, but that’s part of it. Although I he blew it, but I can’t say I’m ashamed of it,” concludes strongly.
