“An important day for every Greek. How much more so for me, a “child of Homogenia”. Proud to serve our country – if only for a few weeks. “It is an honor to be here to serve my homeland, the country I love, as an expatriate who has returned to contribute to his country. I am proud of my country, but not of everything that happens in my country” he had said earlier from the city’s main square, where he gave a small greeting.
