The kitchens of MasterChef Celebrity 9 always offer much more than exquisite dishes. Among the pans and saucepans, unusual friendships are also made, such as the one between Cristina Cifuentes and Inés Hernand. Nobody expected that a former politician of the stature of Cifuentes and a vindictive communicator could get along so well. And right in this context, when everything seems to be going smoothly, Inés has made a confession against her adoptive mother.
In the middle of cooking, while both were working side by side, Hernand took advantage of a relaxed moment to drop a bombshell: “I am her adopted daughter, but, of course, I am from Madrid and we have attended demonstrations against Cristina Cifuentes at some point, because that’s how it was, Cris.”
The confession could have been due to their good relationship, but the former politician of the Popular Party, with her eyes fixed on the stove, has decided not to give it much importance. Instead of having an uncomfortable reaction, she has continued cooking as if nothing had happened, showing that on that set, what matters most are the good dishes and the complicity that both have built.
Ideology is not enough to separate them
Cifuentes’ silence has shown that she knows how to handle unpleasant situations, something she has demonstrated on numerous occasions throughout the contest. “I have always been very rebellious, just like you were when you were young,” added her friend, laughing, referring to the strong character that both seem to share. To which Cifuentes, without wasting a second, responded categorically: “And I still am, eh.”

Thus, it has been proven that both, despite their ideological differences, have managed to get along wonderfully. In fact, this friendship has cost Hernand numerous criticisms, since some of her followers do not understand how she can be so close to someone who was a member of the PP. Despite this, the comedian has continued to praise her companion: “You are the best, Cris!”
