Kendji Girac is back. Last April, the singer revealed in the third season of The Voice was rushed to hospital after a serious gunshot wound to the chest. Wishing to cut short the “untruths”his wife Soraya had explained to Parisian not to have been the victim of “suicide blackmail”.
A few months after coming close to death, Kendji, for his part, explained to Paris Match having taken control of his life thanks to sport and therapy. A few weeks ago, the singer made his comeback with a single entitled If onlybefore unveiling his new opus on October 4. “I took the time to work on a beautiful song, to look deep in my heart, to want to say what I really wanted to say from the deepest of my soul”he explained in particular on Instagram.

I was very moved to be able to sing this to her, to be able to comfort her with these words, because they are quite strong words, and above all true, which once again come from the heart”he explained to the presenter, before returning to the unwavering support of his wife.
“She’s always been there from the start, she’s a very strong woman“he continued. “So I had to tell him that I have changed and that I want to do good things. With this song I wanted to tell her the truth, to reassure her because I want to be the foundation of my family, I am here for her”confided the singer. “There is a lot of love at home, and a lot of smiles so I am happy, I am very happy to show him that everything is okay”he added.
