Didoras says the situation was sustainable for a long time, but that as the hours went by he and the others got more and more tired.
– There was no room on board. There was also no electricity on the ferry, which they said they were working on. After a few hours, the light came back on, she says.
Didoras, who lives in Brønnøysund, says they were first taken by Stena Scandica by helicopter on a new ferry that took them to Gotland, where they arrived around 11:30 pm on Monday night.
– There was a strong wind and a lot of waves, and there were a lot of them with small children who I can obviously imagine were stressed out, he says.

– We don’t know anything
Didaros, who is now in Gotland, thinks communication from Stena Line after the accident is poor. He describes it as a desperate situation, as he had to leave both his car and all his personal belongings on the ferry.
– On Tuesday morning they said we had to go by plane, but we don’t know anything. I don’t understand why it is so difficult to return to Nynäshamn. I have to go back there to get my car, she says.
Press officer Elfström apologizes if passengers believe the information has been too scarce.
– It is an extraordinary situation which is very painful. We notify our passengers on an ongoing basis. In Gotland, there are various options by plane and ferry. We are working to find the best alternatives, says Elfström.
