I got a spark to do 3 scenes from that singer: Jeethu Joseph

Drishyam, released in 2013 in collaboration with Mohanlal Jeethu Joseph, is a film that changed the course of Malayalam cinema. The scene was a different experience from the thrillers we were used to seeing until then. Drishya became the biggest hit in Malayalam cinema, crossing language barriers. Drishyam also holds the distinction of being the most remade film in seven languages. After eight years, Jeethu shocked again by coming up with the second part of Drishya.

Drishyam 2 became the talk of Indian cinema after its OTT release. The second part is identical to the first part, which Jeethu put on. The question that Jeethu has had for some time is whether there will be a third part of the show. Jeethu answers such questions.

Jeethu said that while he was doing the first part of the scene, he was not thinking about the second part and after scene 2 he was going through the same situation. Jeethu said that he got the spark for Drishyam 3 from Gaika Chitra when he was a guest on a reality show the other day.

Jeethu said that it will take some time to expand and he cannot say when it will start. Jeethu was talking to Red FM Malayalam.

“When the scene was done, I didn’t have the second part in mind. Thinking about it started from 2015. For those two years, I didn’t think about a sequel to the show. Even after doing Drishyam 2, I had nothing in mind about the third part.

But the other day I went as a guest on a reality show. I got a spark about the third part when Chitrachechi talked to me there. Scene 2 was similar. I got the spark for the second party when an event happened right in front of me. It’s still like that. I remember the ending. There is uncertainty about how to get there. That’s why we are not talking about Drishyam 3,’ said Jeethu Joseph.
