– It was special for me, and I am happy to be back in the team. It’s great to get into this gang. I’m very moved to think about it. They wish me all the best. It’s been a lot of ups and downs for me the last six months. I then played there before the break. – I get tears in my eyes over how much they want me well, says the goalkeeper hero moved to TV 3 about his teammates.

Katrine Lunde was back in the finish after she shortly before the European Championships lost his unborn child.

The Norwegian handball girls secured a group victory after a victory against Romania and are ready for the main round of the European Championships – but they had to struggle more than they have done so far in the championship.

For after playing party handball against Germany, the start of the last match in the group stage was not an equally beautiful affair.

Norway struggled in attack and squandered their chances. In the second half, Norway finally managed to shake off the Romanian girls – thanks in part to a very good Lunde in goal.

And the match was extra special for her.

She made a comeback in the championship for Norway. She lost last year’s World Cup due to a knee injury. And the match was special for her – it was her international match number 300 for Norway. Only Karoline Dyhre Breivang with her 305 has more. In other words, Lunde can break the record this year if Norway goes all the way.

– She is fantastic and the world’s best goalkeeper. The way she gets in is absolutely amazing. She has prepared incredibly well and it is fun to watch. She is feared by the other teams and when she is behind there, not everyone dares to take the shots, says Heidi Løke about Lunde’s comeback.

Lunde delivered at his usual level in an anniversary match. As so many times, she delivered several excellent saves – in total it was 17.

– She has a huge winning skull and it is incredibly fun to play with Katrine in this way. It’s very nice to have her in the back. It will be an extra security with her. She has played many important matches and been involved for a long time, says teammate Henny Reistad after the match.

Reistad answers “yes” to the question of whether it is extra impressive to return to the championship after the difficult time.

– It is incredibly impressive and I am very happy to have her back. She is completely raw, says Kari Brattset Dale.

With the victory in the group, Norway is well placed to reach a semi-final with a full pot into the main round.

– I think we rise very well in the second half when needed, says Camilla Herrem.

– It’s good to find out that it will be a struggle when we knock a few notches down.
