KPK searched the office DPRD DKI Jakarta related to the alleged corruption case for land acquisition in Pulo Gebang, East Jakarta. Chairman of DPRD DKI Jakarta Prasetio Edi Marsudi declared open to the steps taken by the KPK.
“As chairman of the DPRD, I fully support the investigation process carried out by the KPK,” said Prasetyo in a written statement, Tuesday (17/1/2023).
Pras–his close nickname–admitted that he did not know for certain which investigation the KPK team was conducting in which case. Even so, he ensured that the entire budgeting process at the DKI Jakarta DPRD was carried out in a transparent and open to the public.
“All Banggar meetings are open to the public. Anyone can witness. In this case, the implementation of the budget is fully carried out by the executive, while the DPRD carries out the budgeting process without intervening,” he said.
As is well known, the KPK visited the DPRD DKI Jakarta office. The KPK investigation team came to the DKI DPRD for a search related to the alleged land acquisition corruption case in Pulo Gebang, East Jakarta.
“It is true that the search was carried out in connection with collecting evidence of alleged corruption in land acquisition in Pulo Gebang,” said Head of KPK Reporting Unit, Ali Fikri, to journalists, Tuesday (17/1).
Ali has not explained what investigators are looking for there. He also did not explain which room was searched.
“We will report back on the progress,” he said.

It is known that the KPK is currently investigating allegations of corruption (TPK) for land acquisition in Pulo Gebang, East Jakarta. The procurement is a project of a regional owned enterprise (BUMD) Perumda Sarana Jaya in 2018-2019.
“KPK is currently collecting evidence related to the alleged TPK case for land acquisition in Pulo Gebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, by Perumda SJ (Sarana Jaya) in 2018-2019,” Acting KPK spokesperson Ali Fikri told reporters, Friday (15/7/2022).
The KPK has also named a suspect in this land procurement corruption case. However, Ali was still reluctant to reveal the names of the suspects.
Ali said that currently the KPK is still gathering evidence and examining witnesses. He also ensured that the Corruption Eradication Committee would immediately announce the construction of the case and the parties who were made suspects.
