I expect an announcement from Mammooka when the film hits theatres: Kunchacko Boban
Bougainvillea is the latest film directed by Amal Neerad after Mammootty’s excellent film Bhishma Parvam. It also marks the first time that Kunhacko Boban is acting in an Amal Neerad film.
Kunchacko Boban says he is expecting a call from Mammootty and his comment after the Bougainville theatre. The actor was speaking in an interview given to Cannes Channel Media.
Kunchako Boban says that when Mammootty said that he was acting in Amal Neerad’s film, Mammootty did not say anything special and always called after the release of the film and told about the film and about the character.

This film also has the distinction of having Kunchacko Boban and Fahadh Faaz on the same screen for the first time. The two had previously worked together in the 2017 film Take Off but did not have scenes together.
