Slovak footballer Dalibor Takáč transferred from the fortune-winning MFK Ružomberok to the second-league Polish club Korona Kielce.
Although the 24-year-old midfielder started the winter training with the third team of the Fortuna League after the autumn, he will not finish it in it. “This contract has already been sealed between the clubs,” the sports manager confirmed to TASR Liptov Club Milan Bezak.
Takáč came to Čebrať in January 2017. Subsequently, in the summer he became one of the central figures of the Ružomberok campaign in the preliminary rounds of the UEFA European League, when he had his fingers in all five accurate interventions of the Liptovs. He played in 126 matches for the “Rose” in the Fortuna League and scored 10 goals.
“I do not hide, after five years I wanted to change and move, even though I am very grateful to the Ruzomberok club for everything. Kielce is so set that they want to play Ekstraklas in the new season, which is the biggest motivation for me, ” said the player who scored one goal and six assists in the fall of 2021/2022.
Takáč also successfully represented the club outside the green lawn, when in April 2020 he won the first year of the e-Fortuna League Challenge without a single loss. The reward for the triumph was a check worth 1500 euros. Takáč dedicated it to the Trojlístok Social Services Center, with which Ružomberok has been cooperating for a long time.
Crowds of fans armed with flares and fireworks came to the training at five in the morning:
