“I don’t feel like that in Basel”: Why Heidi Mück does not support the ESC

Basta High Councilor Heidi Mück abstained from the vote in the Main Council on whether the Basel-Stadt canton should finance the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. This included spending 37.5 million francs with which Basel will provide -Stand support to the ESC and the accompanying program. This does not necessarily mean that she is completely against it, but it can be read as a statement. In an interview with the bz, Mück comments on her reasons.
