1,566,932 euros. That’s how much Amy Winehouse’s music has yielded in the past year. Ten years after her death, the British singer, who had a fortune of about 3.9 million euros at the time of her death, appears to be still a goldcrest. The money is funneled to her parents through three different companies – Dad Mitch (70) and Mum Janis (66) – who manage her estate together, despite the fact that they split up when Amy was 9 years old. According to Mitch, because the singer herself wanted it that way – although it may simply be due to the fact that the single Amy did not have a will upon death and the money in that case automatically goes to the parents. “Ten years after her death, she still takes care of her loved ones – her family and many of her friends are supported by her – and that is so typical of her. She was generous while alive, and in many ways she still is,” said Mitch.
