FC Porto lost today the first points in the 2021/22 edition of the I Portuguese Football League, when they drew 1-1 at Marítimo’s home, in a game of the third round.
The Iranian Mehdi Taremi put FC Porto ahead in the 35th minute, but the Portuguese Xadas made the tie for the islanders, in 45+4.
The `dragons` thus let their rivals Sporting and Benfica escape at the top of the standings, who have nine points, two more than FC Porto, while Marítimo has four.
