What happened?
The Minister of Education, Marco Antonio Avilareferred this Saturday to his continuity in said portfolio and the discussion he had with the deputy of the Green Ecologist Party (PEV), viviana delgado.
Prior to the ministerial adjustment made by President Gabriel Boric, the name of Ávila was one of those that sounded loudest to be replaced, however, this was not the case in the end.

What did the minister say?
After going out to greet the adherents of the Government in the Plaza de la Constitución, this afternoon, the minister stated that “I assume the responsibility that corresponds to me now, that it is to promote the educational reactivation, without a doubt, to remain in the cabinet and continue working for what is our obligation, which is the reactivation of the system”.
It should be remembered that, during the week, the Secretary of State had an altercation with Deputy Delgado (PEV), who accused having felt attacked by the minister.
In this line, the head of Education indicated that was “a discussion, but we have been working hard for a solution what happened at the school (in Maipú), the mining operation that was around the Reina Dinamarca school is already closed”.
“We talked (with the President) and that in the background today He has to leave us some lessons. I am a teacher, therefore, what one learns, every circumstance of life is a learning“, he added.
In this way, Ávila explained that the second year of the government, the work of the Education portfolio will be focused on the educational reactivationin addition to ensuring that “families or the general public understand the value of the educational system, and that all boys and girls attend classes daily.”
