Saltillo, Coahuila.- During a meeting with militants and supporters from the south of Saltillo, the candidate for governor of the Citizens’ Alliance for Security, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, stressed that his campaign is positive, without grids or polarizations, and that one of his main axes of work will be to keep Coahuila Armored.
“This campaign is a meeting point between those of us who want to do something good for our land, of all Coahuilenses who want our families to live better; For this reason, the first commitment that I make with you is that our state continues to be safe, and at peace, ”he said.
The candidate of the PRI-PAN-PRD coalition announced the importance of strengthening the security that the state currently has through prevention, proximity, intelligence and force.
“That Coahuila continues to be an armored state, that we can continue moving from Saltillo to Monclova, from Monclova to Piedras Negras, and to La Laguna with peace and tranquility, because if security is lost, many things are lost, for no reason are we going to allow that they come to us to transform our Coahuila into a violent entity”, he pointed out.
To do this, he said, priority will be given to the issue of prevention with sports, cultural programs and the fight against addictions, “because we have kids who are involved in drugs and we want to get them out of there and vindicate them for a better path.”
He also announced that, as part of his commitments for the southeastern region of Coahuila, is the construction and rehabilitation of sports units, which in addition to being part of the infrastructure works, are also part of addiction prevention actions. and crime.
He was accompanied by the candidate for deputy for district 16, Álvaro Moreira Valdés; the PRI state leader, Rodrigo Fuentes Ávila, the PRD delegate in Coahuila, Mary Telma Guajardo; and the leader of the PRI Saltillo, Jaime Bueno, as well as the leaders of organizations Samuel Rodríguez and Óscar del Bosque.
