Trained in Laval, Armand Boisseau is currently without a club. The 22-year-old goalkeeper recently passed through Cholet is looking for a new challenge in a National, National 2 club or abroad. Interview.
First of all, can you tell us more about your journey so far?
Armand Boisseau (CV PRO): I started football at the age of 4 in my brother’s club, at Francs Archer Laval, until the age of 11, then Stade Lavallois gave me recruited, I did all my training there, going through the National U17-U19 and then the N3. After some training with the professionals, we did not manage to find an agreement so I went to play a season in the South of France, near Argelès-sur-Mer, to come back to the surroundings of Laval at the AS Bourny for family reasons. All during one season. And SO Cholet then contacted me to sign with them.
From a personal point of view, how do you see your season?
The season had started very well, then the club sacked the coach after two matches and then we had a coach with whom personally things went less well. It’s been a very special season, but I’ve always been able to respond when needed, but I’m still disappointed with how things have gone at the club this season.
What is your assessment of this season at the collective level?
This season we had some very good players at the individual level. The mayonnaise failed to catch between us, which led to some very disappointing results. At the winter break a lot of players left and a lot more arrived, which didn’t help matters. But I still keep the fact that we had a very good team.
You are currently without a club. What projects would be of interest to you, where and at what level?
Being currently without a club, I am looking above all for a good project with ambitions. Having left Cholet with whom I spent two seasons at National 1 level, I would like to find a National 1 or National 2 level club, but I am not at all closed to a departure abroad.
