“I always have a dose saved in case I gain a pound or two.”

Ozempice is an antidiabetic drug used to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity, although it is increasingly used for weight loss without a prescription.

This is the case of Catalina Maya, a Colombian model who explains to Equipo de Investigación how she found the drug: “A Colombian endocrinologist told me to try Ozempic, since people used it a lot to lose weight. At that time, I started looking for them in Colombia. There they are sold without a prescription and they are cheap.”

The Colombian model admitted that she used it regularly, which allowed her to lose nine kilos in two weeks. “I always have a dose stored in the fridge at home in case I gain one or two pounds,” she admits. After using it, she weighs only 53 kilos. “I am at the weight I have always wanted to be,” she says.

“I have Argentinian, Mexican and Spanish friends who went crazy because it was sold out in Madrid and they sent it to buy it somewhere. But be careful, it’s not just women, men use it too,” she concludes.
