At Wednesday’s morning training in Nitra, the latest reinforcement from Finland also skated. The shapely forward Filip Krivošík has made a good name in northern Europe, but the year will start in a domestic competition.
After a long absence caused by an injury, it takes place under Zobor. The local club won it for a year of hosting. However, it is possible that Krivošík will return to Finland in the coming season.
In a 100% form, a representative return may come
Dislocated shoulder, fatigue fracture in the back, displaced vertebra. Last year was extremely challenging for Filip Krivošík. Due to injuries, he played only fourteen matches in Finland’s top competition, the last on January 14.
Twenty-two-year-old Bratislava believes that he will intervene in the next duel as soon as possible. However, he does not want to hasten recovery unnecessarily. “We are working with physiotherapists. The back is very important, it is one of the basic parts of the body for a hockey player. I have to admit, it’s really somewhere else than before. I feel a big difference and improvement, ” said Filip Krivošík.
“We will see when I can intervene in the match. Of course, it will all depend on how I feel about training, because from the beginning I will definitely just train. We’ll see later, we’ll go at it gradually. It’s a matter of time. “
However, the next duel will not be played for a Nordic, but a Slovak club. The regular player of the Finnish SaiPy came to Nitra for a year-long guest appearance. With a club from the city near the Russian border, he agreed that returning to his homeland would be a good choice. “It simply came to our notice then. The impulse also came from SaiPy. We agreed that I would go to Nitra. “
NITRA CALLED FIRST
Krivošík has been working abroad since he was sixteen years old. After one season in Chomutov, Czech Republic, he left for Finland. Gradually he went through the junior and the second highest competition Mestis, until he worked his way to Liiga. He had a very good year before last season, when he collected 23 points in 57 duels.
However, the expected move to a higher level did not come. Krivošík played only a minimum of duels due to injuries, so there is a chance to restart in Nitra. At the age of 22, he will experience his premiere in the domestic extra league.

“First of all, it’s definitely a big challenge, either for me or for the club. It is about hosting and we will see how I will be on the sports and health side. I am very happy to introduce myself at home, ” says a tall (193 cm / 94 kg) right-hander.
“I am grateful to Nitra only for the way I was treated and that they want to help me. It is a difficult situation for them as well. I will try to pass everything for the team. Nitra was the first to speak and be interested. They dealt with the agent. They were very nice and willing to help me. “
Krivošík remains, despite returning to the extra league, the main player of SaiPy Lappeenranta. The agreement with the Finnish club is for one season, but it can be shortened. SaiPa has the right to download it by the end of the calendar year.
“It simply came to our notice then. We have agreed to be in weekly contact with a fitness trainer and physiotherapist in Finland. I am currently in Nitra and I am not concentrating on anything else. I will try to get in the best possible shape as soon as possible and time will tell. “
NEW TEAM BUT KNOWN CAB
Krivošík is a newcomer to the “corgoňov” team, but he knows several faces. In the youth teams, he met mainly with Samuel Buček, Jozef Baláž and Martin Bodák. “The cabin is very well known. I’ve been playing with guys since I was a junior and we’re in touch. It’s nothing new for me, even though there are, of course, new faces, ” admitted Filip Krivošík.
The shapely striker has already seen the senior national team, where he would like to return. “Sure, that’s why I returned to Slovakia. I will definitely be more visible to the coach in the Slovak national team. It’s one of the goals I would like to achieve – to get back on the national team. ” says the hopeful attacker.
However, he sees health as a priority. “First of all, I want to get into one hundred percent form, and then I’ll think about what to do next.” concluded Filip Krivošík.
