Hyundai has shown the new generation model of the Santa Fe crossover, which surprises with a radically different design.
Hyundai’s large (US – middle) class crossover Santa Fe has reached its fifth generation and this time it offers its customers a completely different design, which will please some, perhaps surprise or even upset others.
Most experts say that the design of the new Santa Fe, which to some extent resembles Land Rover/Range Rover, has succeeded – the car looks much more dynamic, confident and modern, standing out with its own characteristic elements, such as the distinctive front, characterized by H-shaped diode lights , as well as regularly shaped radiator grills and air supply elements. Also at the rear are H-shaped lights and a vertically placed fifth door cover, which increases the capacity of the luggage compartment.
The interior is designed in the style of the latest Hyundai models – the front panel has two screens with a size of 12.3 inches each – a digital instrument panel and a touch screen of the multimedia system, which is slightly turned towards the driver. Below is the center console with a combination of touch-sensitive climate control unit, physical buttons and switches. In the central tunnel you can see a niche with wireless charging for smartphones and cup holders. Another innovation – the gear shifter is placed on the steering column. Optional panoramic roof consisting of several sections.
The full-fledged premiere of the new Santa Fe is scheduled for August 10, then information about the technical performance of the fifth generation model is also promised.
