The Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric car debuted only a year ago. However, the manufacturer has already updated the car.
Externally, the model has not changed much. The update mainly affected the technical side.
The updated Ioniq 5 will be available with a battery with a capacity of 77.4 kWh (instead of the current 72.6 kWh), which will provide the model with a range of 488 km after charging.
The electric car will be supplemented with an improved thermoregulation system that will interact with the navigation and after the driver sets the direction of the charging station, will restore the normal temperature of the battery.
Such an option will improve efficiency, especially in cold weather. A version with a 58 kWh battery is also available.
Other “improvements” include adaptive shock absorbers, black bumpers and an expanded range of body colors.

The electric car will also be available with cameras instead of traditional rear-view mirrors. This option has been available before, but only on the Korean market. It will now be available in other countries.
Another new feature of the Ioniq 5 is the use of a central display instead of the interior mirror. It transmits images from the camera mounted on the rear spoiler.
The updated crossover will go on sale in the second half of 2022. The price has not yet been announced. The price of the current version of the model starts from 42,000 euros. /auto.blitz.bg
