Hyundai Motor Group unveils the first details of its new smart urban mobility hub. Open since November 21, the Hyundai Motor Group Singapore Innovation Center (HMGICS) will redefine the future of automotive manufacturing and set new benchmarks in customer experience.
In line with the Group’s vision of Progress for Humanity, the new HMGICS factory will offer an unprecedented level of integration between man and machine.
HMGICS will serve as a testbed for intelligent, human-centered automotive manufacturing technologies, utilizing advanced, next-generation production methods that are significantly more advanced than traditional conveyor belt assembly techniques.
While developing the Group’s approach to manufacturing, sustainability and customer experience, HMGICS will also strengthen Singapore’s reputation as a leader in a new era of mobility, and will therefore prioritize the implementation work on sustainable and innovative solutions. HMGICS is an integral part of Singapore’s smart city ecosystem and will strengthen the shared vision of Hyundai Motor Group and Singapore to build a better, more sustainable future for everyone.
