Hyundai offered Russians to exchange old Solaris for new ones for free

In September 2020, Hyundai celebrates the 10th anniversary of the plant in St. Petersburg.

The first model, the production of which was localized in this enterprise, was Solaris. To celebrate the anniversary, Hyundai is holding a competition where winners will be able to swap their old Solaris for a new one for free.

To participate in the competition, you must be the sole owner of the first generation Hyundai Solaris, produced in St. Petersburg in 2011. If this condition is met, then by October 11, you must send an application for participation on the Hyundai website. The winners will be announced from 13 to 15 October and the awards ceremony will take place in St. Petersburg from 22 to 23 October.

Hyundai Solaris is available in Russia with 1.4 and 1.6 liter petrol engines with 100 and 123 hp. Each can be aggregated with either a manual transmission or a 6-speed “automatic”. The price for the model starts at 780,000 rubles.

Later, the limited edition Hyundai Solaris “10 years” will go on sale. A total of 4,500 anniversary sedans will be produced, which are distinguished by an expanded set of equipment. Thus, all cars of the “10 years” series have an armrest with a box and length adjustment, floor mats and a USB port for rear row passengers.
