“The procedure for acquiring the assets of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus LLC was completed on January 24, 2024,” the statement says.
The deal was approved by a subcommittee of the government commission for control of foreign investments and the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
Under its terms, Art-Finance became the owner of the Hyundai plant in Kamenets and the former GM plant in Shushary, which Hyundai bought in 2020. In the near future, the factories will be renamed.
