Three office workers at Hyundai Motor’s Jeonju Plant showed symptoms such as stuffy nose and loss of sense of smell, and as a result of examining Corona 19, they were confirmed at 7 pm the previous day.

The Wanju-gun health center, the Jeonbuk-do epidemiological investigator, and the Hyundai Motors plant immediately met, and from 8:00 on the same night, preemptive samples of 167 employees in the department related to the confirmed case were collected and completed by midnight.
The public health center confirmed the negative test at 5 a.m. that day, considering the urgency of the matter. It took only 10 hours for the diagnosis to be confirmed, sample collection, confirmation of confirmation, and negative judgment.
The Wanju-gun Health Center also actively responded to preemptive actions, such as collecting samples for 80 employees of related departments as two additional Hyundai Motor employees were confirmed at the dawn of this day.
These employees visited Suncheon and Yeosu, Jeollanam-do on the 10th to 15th, respectively, and were found to be infected.
Park Seong-il, head of Wanju County, directly presided over a countermeasure meeting related to the occurrence of confirmed Hyundai Motors on the same day and said, “We will keep a close preemptive cooperation system so that this situation can be overcome early.”
Earlier, the Hyundai Motor Company’s Jeonju plant had the first confirmed cases on December 5 last year, and it was completed early in 20 days through preemptive responses such as full inspection for 4,200 people including employees.
At that time, a total of 34 people, including 21 employees and 13 families, were infected with Corona 19 related to Hyundai Motor’s Jeonju plant due to a rapid and large-scale total investigation by Wanju-gun.
