Hyundai is showing the sporty Tuna Kona N for the first time without camouflage, the dark pictures don’t hide much. The bow is shaped very dramatically, the holes above the radiator grille are reminiscent of the current style of Audi. The lower part of the split headlights then merges with the black accessories on the bumper.

The rear tailpipes capture the rear, the entire body is lined with an orange strip at the bottom, similar to previous models from the N division. A well-known design element is the roof spoiler with a triangular LED brake light.

According to previously published information, the Kona N will receive a relatively large engine for its time and class, a supercharged two-liter i30 N. It will work in pairs with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Hyundai has not yet revealed anything about the performance parameters, but the engine has an output of 280 hp as standard.

The novelty will be included in addition to other sharp variants of the division, such as the i20 N and i30 N. Outside Europe, the Veloster N is also available. The arrival of the i30 N after the facelift is expected in the near future. The sharp version of the horse arrives after the facelift of the entire model line, which also brought an intermediate stage, the sporty-looking N Line variant.
