The best-selling model was the Hyundai Sonata hybrid with 147,661 units sold, followed by the hybrid version of the Kia Niro (112,568) and the Ioniq hybrid (76,134).

Hyundai Motor Group predicted that its green car sales in the United States would remain strong this year. In the first two months of this year, its environmentally friendly car sales reached 26,009 units, accounting for a record 13.1 percent share of its total sales in the United States.
