We had the opportunity to test the performance of the long range version of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 on a long straight track. As a result, this non-emission vehicle can accelerate to a speed of 191 km/hour in sport driving mode. This record exceeds Hyundai’s claim of only 185 km/hour.
On another occasion, we tried the Hyundai Ioniq 5 throttle again in sport mode. However, the result remains the same: stuck at 191 km/hour. This speed is limited by the manufacturer due to safety considerations.

It is known that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 long range is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 217 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Meanwhile, to accelerate from zero to 100 km/hour only takes 7.4 seconds.
The vehicle, which has been produced locally in Cikarang, West Java, has a battery with a capacity of 72.6 kWh with a maximum range of 480 kilometers.

When we took the vehicle to a SPKLU, the battery only had 13 percent remaining. Then with the help of 200 Kw ultra fast charging technology, the power is charged to 80 percent in just 22 minutes.
Charging costs IDR 129,894 with details of IDR 119,762 for charging fees and IDR 9,581 for tax fees. According to the transaction report, the power we purchased was 48.55 kWh.
