Hyundai has a small electric car globally called the Hyundai Inster. It is possible that the Hyundai Inster will enter Indonesia.

When asked again if Hyundai will launch the Hyundai Inster in Indonesia, Frans did not confirm or deny the question.

“Maybe. But that doesn’t mean yes,” he said.

In addition, the name Hyundai Inster was also registered in Indonesia. On the Intellectual Property Database page, Hyundai Motor Company registered the brand “INSTER” in Indonesia. The brand is included in class code 12, the car and electric vehicle category.

The Hyundai Inster builds on the design heritage of the Hyundai Casper. The evolution of the Inster’s styling is supported by a longer body and wheelbase to provide more interior space and a rugged appearance.

Meanwhile, the long-range variant has a 49 kWh battery, 84.5 kW (115 PS) power, a top speed of 150 km/h, and a range of 355 km.

When using the 120 kW DC High Power charging station, the Hyundai Inster can charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes under the best conditions. The INSTER also comes with an 11 kW onboard charger as standard.
