Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) officially launched Hyundai i20 new for local consumers. This compact vehicle has a number of advantages, starting from its affordable price to its various features.
Obtained from Transport, Tarun Garg as COO of HMIL said, the new Hyundai i20 is presented for young consumers in urban areas. This vehicle prioritizes comfort for everyday use.
“Designed for urban youth, the new Hyundai i20 promises an unmatched mobility experience. We have firm confidence that the new Hyundai i20 will not only raise customer aspirations but also align with the ambitions of young buyers in India,” said Gard, quoted on Saturday ( 9/9).

In appearance, the Hyundai i20 still has a minimalist style with compact dimensions. However, the grille is made quite firm and fierce with quite large headlamps. Meanwhile, the Hyundai logo is installed right in the central position of the engine hood.
Like city cars in general, the new Hyundai i20 doesn’t have many curves on the sides and rear. However, the wheel rims are made sporty thanks to the play of sharp and curved patterns.
The Hyundai i20 is known for its abundant safety features. In fact, in the latest version, the manufacturer added several new technologies such as six airbags, ESC, HAC and VSM as standard.

This means that the new Hyundai i20 now has 40 safety features, 20 of which are standard. This includes burglar alarm, ESS (Emergency Stop Signal), reverse parking camera, Highline Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and many more.
Meanwhile, entertainment support features are also quite abundant. The vehicle is equipped with seven Bose audio speakers, a cellphone charging socket, an ambient sound experience with seven nature-inspired soundscapes, voice commands, and more.
The new Hyundai i20 still uses a 1,197 cc four-cylinder engine with 84 PS of power and 113.8 Nm of torque. This provision is channeled to the wheels via a five-speed automatic and manual transmission.
Currently, the new Hyundai i20 can be ordered in India in seven color choices, namely white, grey, silver, starry night, red, white-black and red-black. Local consumers who want to buy it only need to prepare a dowry starting from 699,490 or approximately Rp. 129 million.
