Bank SoftBank sold by another company. She recently got rid of ARM, which traveled to Nvidia, now we have the sale of the company Boston Dynamics, which was founded in 1992 and came under the wings of SoftBank in 2017. This company manufactures, for example, an industrial robot with the name Spot (so far several hundred pieces have been delivered in limited sales) and moves under the company Hyundai Motor Group, which will now own 80% of the company’s shares. The remaining 20% will be retained by SoftBank through its other companies.

In total, this is to be a transaction of around USD 1.1 billion (almost CZK 24 billion). For Hyundai, this is an investment in a smart future and will complement its efforts to create green vehicles, smart factories, artificial intelligence systems, and is generally the next step in Industry 4.0. The transaction should be completed in June 2021, subject to the approval of the relevant regulatory authorities.
